As of writing, Stable Diffusion is opened on the web, and tomorrow you can run it locally. You can sign up for the web at (https://beta.dreamstudio.ai/) - it uses a credit system but it is expected to get cheaper over time. It starts kind of expensive. This can also run in google Collab.

You probably noticed sometimes teeth and eyes can be a bit wonky. I found this site by Tencent called ARC which is face restoration…as of writing, it is down at the moment, so I wanted to see what I have that I can use. I found the best way to fix eyes is to actually run the image through photoshop. With the neural filter turned on, adjust the eye position +1 or -1.

But photoshop isn’t free, and my subscription won’t last forever. I found something else called Replicate. Replicate can *sometimes* work to clean up mouths and faces, eyes, but it is by no means perfect.  Here are a few before and after.

My biggest problem with replicate is it likes to smooth the skin way too much and it gives it this airbrushed look that I don’t like. Overall, though, I think the images look a lot better!
